Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy

Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy is a scientifically recognised field of modern rehabilitation concerned with the clinical assessment, therapeutic management and rehabilitation of disorders of the neuromusculoskeletal system. Grounded firmly in the principles of Evidence-Based Practice, our approach does not focus on temporarily suppressing symptoms, but on identifying the root cause of the dysfunction. To this end, we combine current research evidence with our clinical experience, always placing the unique needs, values and expectations of the patient at the centre. Through this advanced clinical reasoning, we design a personalised treatment plan to address acute and chronic problems.

Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy
Non-Specific Mechanical Pain

The most common type of musculoskeletal pain, caused by mechanical strain on structures of the musculoskeletal system. Treatment of low back pain, neck pain and other musculoskeletal complaints that limit movement and everyday life.

Degenerative Conditions

Problems that arise due to age or chronic strain (e.g. osteoarthritis, spondyloarthritis). Personalised rehabilitation for problems in the shoulder, knee, hip and other joints, aimed at managing symptoms and improving function.

Overuse Syndromes

Conditions caused by repetitive movements or habits (e.g. tendinopathy, carpal tunnel syndrome). A therapeutic approach for tendinopathies, peripheral nerve entrapment and more, aimed at a gradual return to activity.

Injuries / Sports Injuries

Injuries such as fractures, muscle strains and ligament and meniscus tears. The rehabilitation programme respects the different physiology of each tissue and is adapted to each patient's needs, with the aim of returning them to their daily activities.

Frequently Asked
Questions

Find answers to frequently asked questions about home physiotherapy sessions and how our services work.

The length of a session depends on each patient's needs and treatment programme. It usually lasts about 45–60 minutes.

Musculoskeletal physiotherapy helps with acute and chronic low back or neck pain, joint conditions, tendinopathies, muscle injuries and sports injuries, as well as after surgery.

The number of sessions is not the same for everyone. It is determined after the physiotherapy assessment, depending on the condition, the severity of the symptoms and the response to treatment.
