Neurological Rehabilitation
Neurological physiotherapy is a specialised field of rehabilitation that focuses on the clinical management, functional retraining and improvement of quality of life of people with conditions and injuries of the central and peripheral nervous system. It is based on the modern principles of neuroplasticity — the brain's ability to reorganise itself and form new neural connections after an injury — and our therapeutic approach aims to restore function. Through personalised protocols, we manage muscle tone disorders, balance deficits and the motor weakness resulting from conditions such as stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease and injuries to the spinal cord or peripheral nerves.
Stroke
Neurological retraining to regain mobility, manage hemiplegia/hemiparesis and restore functional movement patterns.
Parkinson's Disease
Exercise protocols focused on improving stride, addressing rigidity and enhancing balance to prevent falls.
Multiple Sclerosis
Targeted treatment plans to maintain muscle strength, manage fatigue and preserve function.
Peripheral Nerve & Spinal Cord Conditions
Rehabilitation for nerve palsies (e.g. facial palsy, radiculopathies) and injuries, aimed at reinnervation, sensory retraining and strengthening.
